February Photography Thread
kn...
First- I think you might be better off with a thread for yourself to get criticism and critiquing vs. the monthly threads. Most people post 1 or 2 items.
To your pics... I'm not sure what you're trying to achieve or your goals, so critiquing is tough. (See above comment, where you can have a whole thread about that separate from the other stuff).
I think the first one is very interesting, however, I don't think it's exposed correctly. Interesting subject, good bokeh, the rays from G-d. I just think it's underexposed by quite a bit.
I think the beehive is also interesting, but composition wise, it doesn't do anything for me. Maybe zooming in quite a bit on just the bees? Similar to the koi shot someone posted last month?
The car ones - they don't do anything for me at all. 'Just another set of car pics.' One had a bunch of people standing around, one has someone trying to get out of the way. The one that might have a chance is the one with the cars stacked on the side of the road. What about taking a shot from the road at the cars straight forward so you'd see the first then the ones behind like bowling pins. Consider the angles you shoot and the height you shoot too.
Good Luck! Keep shooting, with some purpose
