Default Fireworks

Long weekend, road trip to Montreal.

Fireworks from an American pyro company on display last night.

imported with Aperture, non layer, non HDR

can't do jack about the lamp post. Got there late and had to squeeze my way into a gap for this view

I like seeing the people in this shot it adds a nice element that you do not normally see in fireworks shots

Totally.

Adds to the story in a good way.

Next year I'm going to camp out earlier. This is the 2nd year I've gone and the gf and I always played tourist for too long before we go, so all the prime real estate is always occupied

This was in Old Montreal, I forgot the name of the place I was in, but it's close to the science centre.

The bridge is called Jacques-Cartier I believe, and that's the clock tower pier on the right.

Perfect spot would be an elevated position overlooking the historic part of the town, WITH the bridge in the background.

Have yet to figure out where to get that shot yet.
