First published work in 2012
So something happened back in early 2011 and I stopped doing fashion photography for almost the entire year. It wasn't until December that I figured out what some of my deficiencies were (still have a ton of em) so I made it a mission this year that 80% of my work if not more would be sent for publication as submissions to build my tearsheet portfolio. It doesn't matter if they don't run it; every shoot will be executed to the level that I need to get to for publication.
Did this shoot back in the first week of January for a February publication, and even though they didn't take as many images as I'd like (and looking back, I think I know why as some of the stuff just didn't fit) it was a mini triumph so to speak.
YOu can check out the entire issue 4 of Veux magazine here (there's some GREAT stuff in this issue, so tbh I'm actually surprised they took my story):

My spread starts on page 30, titled "The Red String"
The pictures that made it for the story:

Two out-takes that I loved but didn't fit into the theme as well as the above 4
