The first 2 are my favorites... The others in my honest opinion are a little tight compositionally for me with the angle of the sun being too high. If you were to shoot either earlier in the day or even on an overcast day, the colors would be a lot better and the highlights not as hot.

Nice shots nonetheless though!

thanks for CC.. i shot it in front of a window. direct sunlight. around 3pm.

yes I agree if i had shot them during sunset or early morning they would have looked nicer without hot spots.

i'm still learning the composition part of macro photography...

The first photo I ever took with an dslr, back in 2005 with a D70s. Not the best of pics but brings back good memories

When I bought my camera, I had some specific things in mind. Flora wasn't one of them. However, before going to Brazil, I was at a friend's house and he had some shots he took framed.

While in Brazil, I took quite a few flora shots, and picked these three to present.

The 1st one is called a passion flower.

The 2nd, I have no clue? Sorry!
