Default forgotten lens

As it says at the bottom of the article, a 35mm is the 1.6 crop equivalent of the 50mm, and the 35mm is probably at least as old as the 50, with almost as much experience backing it up.

Zooms FTL!! I love primes. But the 35mm will suffer from wide angle distortion as a 35mm would. While not a true 50mm, it's going to be the closest crop camera's will get.

My oldest lens is the cheap-o 35mm f2, and it ain't going anywhere.....unless it is replaced by one with a red ring - on 1.3 and full frame it rocks
