Default Generic battery?

I was looking at getting a second battery for my Nikon D60. Do the generic batteries charge and last as well as OEM? Any recommendations?

Personally considering the price difference between oem vs generic expanded over the average life of a battery, I always get oem.

I've had no luck at all with non-OEM batteries for Nikon.

I got one generic bad out of the box - got it replaced and its better than the OEM (prob due to the higher capacity)
