Thanks guys

These photos are looking very different on my calibrated monitor now that I'm looking at them at home - I processed them at work (no calibration).

This is a very cool place. Trails parallel the Potomac River and there are multiple outlooks by the most rapid parts. Blue Herons were catching huge fish - I didn't know herons hunted in waters that turbulent! I want to go back with a longer lens to catch them in action.

That b&w photo has a classy and timeless look to it. I like the other photos as well. Looks like a great place to see and these photos make me want to go there

It is about 3 miles before Tyson's Corner. I think it is off Old Dominion.
