i need to know if this is a good deal or not, Ive been aways from the SLR scene for a while and need some help...

NIKON D80- "perfet minty fresh"
AF MICRO NIKKOR 60mm
SIGMA 28-70mm DG
SIGMA 70-300mm DG
NIKON remote
4gb sd card
lowepro backback (really nice actually fits it all perfectly)
a sd card reader
and spare battery.

All for $600..

It does sound like a deal but im always the kind of person that no matter how great the deal is i think about it..

If this is a package from a website, I'd be skeptical...

Id say request to take to to Nikon in el sugundo (sp?) to have it checked out
the sigma lens have far less value than a nikon lens of similar focal length
Basic repair could be half the value of your purchase

compare the camera at KEH.com

naw its from my friend. he has that one and a d90 its just that hes behind on his car payments (lost his job) and mentioned to me he would give me his cam if i just cought him up on his car and bike payment so it doesnt get repo'ed. I told him i wanted it but didnt have the cash till next week and he just gave it to me to play with till i pay him. But it works great, he takes care of his stuff..

Most likely gonna give him the cash.

PICTUREPRO: Yeah im planning on getting the nikon lenses for it as i go along. I saw some on a website called canogacamera.com they are pretty cheap there, dont want anything to fancy. Just normal pix here and there. But what i do want is a fish eye lens.

If it's from a trusted friend and everything is in good working order, then it seems like a good deal.

Same package and price but take the D90
Word, he'll be selling it next month to make another anyways.
