Thanks for the insight

Here are some more I played with:

I like the compositions as well, but you should try to do a little less saturation/vibrance. Instead try to pull out some shadow detail idk if you use lightroom or etc. Maybe also try playing around with depth of field? I do like the variety.
Thanks for the advice! I use Photoshop CS5 and I do usually use a lot of vibrance, but I've been working on it, trying to make it better. What do you mean playing around with depth of field? I do that by changing apertures right?

TheStigSC, yeah your aperture will help with DOF mostly but also focal length of your lens as well. Example, a lens at 50mm vs a lens zoomed at 200mm. Play around with zoom distances on a single object and you will see how the back ground blows at even at the same aperture. And personally I prefer lightroom i think its a lot simpler you should try the free trial! and only shoot RAW files. Huge different in post production. Hope it helps! Btw, VisualEchos that lotus shot is gorgeous.

Thanks again. I sent you a PM with a quick question, maybe you can help regarding RAW files and an issue I've had with them.

^ I like your shot. Nice use of the sun coming through the trees. I think I am good with placing my car and body to use the light from behind me, but I need to work on shots like yours where you use the light in front of you to do something creative.

Also, do you shoot everyday? I need to get out more but I just dont have many locations at my disposal. Most good mountain backdrops are too far of a drive, and there isnt much good greenery in the desert.
