June 2010 Competition
Since I have been itching to get out and start shooting with the weather being beautiful in the north east now, but with my next month's weekends being booked tight I figured I'd give a suggestion for the June competition and get the ball rolling once again.
So without further ado, our June 2010 Competition topic is...
"1 in __"
(example, one in ten, one in a hundred, etc.)

I also have a better idea for competition purposes. Before, you can post an image basically any time of the month. Then, people can look at your photo, go out, shoot a better one, and winning. No more.
From now on, I will create a SUBMISSION thread 3 days before the deadline. Then, everyone can put in their submissions and on the last day, I will lock the thread. Then a winner will be chosen by the OP. As always, photo and exif data must prove it was shot within that month, and the OP may not participate in his own contest.
You guys like that idea? I think it will be much more exciting, rather than having entries sitting there for one month, giving others ideas.

any thoughts on having the entries pm'd to the moderator and making a poll revealing the pics on the last day to allow members to vote?
of course, the results would be hidden from view and the moderator would reveal the winner on the fifth day of the following month.

Yea, but IMHO, I wouldn't want just anyone voting for the photo. It would be nice to have only the photo forum guys vote, as they understand whats going on, rather than "OOOOOOooooh look at that sideways anglez and HDRz datz hot."
How about, everyone must PM either me, or the OP of that month, with their photo 3 days before deadline. Then, either I or the OP will post up all the photos with NO names, and then anyone with a photo badge can vote. At the end, the winner will be revealed.
Thoughts?

Mine? No. Ours, absolutely.
Ok, so for this month, everyone just PM me your entries, and I will stick them into the submission thread with a poll towards the end of the month. We will try it for one month, and see how we like it.
