I think there's two things to consider. Learning about composition and the subject, and learning about the camera. You can do perfectly fine with the first and not the second. On the other hand, you can learn every advanced feature of the camera, and still have terrible results.

You'll learn over time and through use how to take advantage of the camera's functionality to improve the subject matter and composition to get the desired results you want.

For critiquing of multiple shots, you probably want to number them so its easier.

My opinions: I like the first two (the Art Museum and the City at night). I don't particularly like the closeups of the car (likely my personal preference, I've never understood them unless it was a whole set). The street shot, ok, point and shoot. I like the lawn and city shot, however, the stripe of street and curb is distracting to me. I'm also thinking you didn't want to be obvious to the couple on the lawn, so it looks very point and shoot-ish. That might be a good subject matter for a wide angle lens, much closer to the couple. It would give perspective between them being right in front and the city being far away.
