Default Kodak Zi8

Anybody have one? I was thinking about grabbing one on amazon:

to clamp to the roll hoops or suction cup to the windshield/ hood to shoot autocross stuff. The video I've seen doesn't look bad in the 720p/60fps setting, but I can't find any hectic action stuff to see how smooth the video is.

If you want a good camera with higher fps, chk out the casio point and shoots. My golf buddies absolutely RAVE about em since almost everyone of them are addicted on tweaking their swings.

Useful for autox, since most runs don't last longer than 90 seconds.

It wont' be in 720p AND in 300 fps, but it'll slow down things enough so you can nitpick your lines and driving if that's what you want

Check these out. Keep in mind they are both hand held not secured, but should give you an idea of the quality during driving.

The Zi8 gets a lot of praise for vid quality, especially for the price. Here's a guy who put a T1i in the cockpit and a Flip on the hood! Just to give you some ideas of what you can do if you really want to...gets your juices flowing!
