again, your camera is the limiting factor....the sensor is so small that the depth of field is significantly wider than a larger SLR sensor.

Here's some examples of extreme bokeh, which I took with my Sony A350. These are extreme cases, as a macro lens was used. The depth of field is extremely narrow. An object millimeters behind the focus point is out of focus.







Here's a more realistic shot using a 50mm with a f/1.7 aperture. Still plenty of "bokeh".
