Default need help

i cant get my camera to flash in any of the modes and my computer does not read my camera anymore threw the usb cord?

did you just buy that camera used? did you buy it new? how long has this happened? has it happened before? is it under warranty. please be more specific so we could help you out.

bought it brand new, in Oct lat year. started on Monday of this week, and it has never hapeen before. bought a 3 year warranty for it. no i did not drop it its always in its case. the camera shows me that the flash is on but does not flash when the picture is taken.

hmmmmm I would take and back and ask them. Its hard to say what it is with out looking at the camera, Dose the D40 have a master reset? if so try that.

yea its as a master reset and ive tryed it..im just going to take it back and use the warranty.
