Looks like and even better time to get a good price on a Mk II N . It'll be interesting to see what price the EOS-1D Mark III ends up at in the UK

By the press release on Canon's site it'll follow the IIn's pricing structure. By BH that's about $3400 body only now, but I don't know where it debuted pricewise. I'm thinking $4000?

Looks like a great body, but I'm with you, time to start watching IIn prices closely..../realism on.

I had kinda made my mind up over the 5d/MK II n debate that I'd push the boat out and go for a MK II n - its a much better camera than I am a photographers I will be watching the prices and release dates (for the UK) closley. Hopefully this will play to my favour and I'll get a discounted MK II n somewhere

The Stig

10.1 MP, 10 FPS, ISO 6400, 3" screen, DIGIC III, AF-on button, 20D-like rotating button and scroller.....that is everything I could want in a 1D non-s. If it is priced right, my 1DMKII might be for sale.

I don't know what I'd do with ISO 6400 - I hate going past 1600 now

The 20D-like controls are what I've felt the 1D was lacking. Those make things so much easier to navigate
