Photography forums
I've been on the look out for new, and well orientated photography forums.
So far I'm a member at Fredmiranda.com and I just signed up for photography-on-the.net.
I like Fred Miranda's weekly and monthly assignments, and the people there are very informative and know what they are doing. It's not as active as I'd like it to be, though.
The photography-on-the..forum, seems less formal, and overpopulated. I see a lot of immaturity but also a lot of good work.
S2Ki>Photography forum is a solid sub forum, though it definitely is not as active as I'd like it to be.
So, where do you guys post? I want to find a nice place that is active and that also has competitions often enough to keep me busy and learning more and more.
Thanks Guys,

Fred Miranda has a high concentration of pros, with very few amateurs (like me.)
Photographyonthenet is a good forum, with good info, but you need to sift much harder to get good, reliable info. S2ki, very few active members, which is fine by me, since the ones that are active actually know their sh!t and dont BS. I don't post much on the other forums...s2ki is my favorite one. Quality rather than quantity.

FM is nice, but the site is sometimes quite slow.
POTN has good sub forums and I especially like the competion forums - the "super macro guessing game" and "where am I now?" are quite fun. Oh, and their FST forums get tons of traffic.
Lately have been posting more and more on the flickr forums in groups that I've joined like strobist.

There are various forums for different genres of photography. I also post on the Digital Grin which is a part of SmugMug - usually I'm there simply looking for hacks to my SmugMug site. The people are super nice, but the forum does move a bit slow.
POTN moves the fastest of the photography forums I frequent. There is a ton of good info on there, but you do have to sift through some crap.
FM forums are awesome. Yes, Fred's servers are slow and there is a little bit of an elitist attitude over there, but an awesome place nonetheless. There is nowhere better to find used equipment recycling quickly.
S2Ki is great because we're all pushing each other to get better - in a friendly way. It is small enough to know each other's styles yet moves enough to have some decently fresh content every 24 hours or so. It has been fun "growing up" with the frequenters of this sub-forum

I've started participating in Flickr a lot more lately. The down side is, finding a good group on Flickr is like panning for gold in the ocean.
