Your impression is wrong. The gallery is for photos related to the s2000

I think both views are correct. Most of us who have been in this photography forum for most if not all of the 3+ years its been on S2KI believe this is a forum for the discussion of photography techniques, tools, products, businesses, and critiquing of photos.

The other forum here is actually called the S2000 gallery and does specifically indicate its for S2000s pics and videos. That does leave a gap for non-S2000 pictures for just display and the 'Hey, I went here and saw some great cars' threads like this and other recent ones.

I generally believe the 'Gallery' is a better spot for general car photos. I think your photos (and others in general) would get more attention and car reviews there than the critiques you would get here from a technical standpoint. Posting a few specific ones to help understand your techniques and input to help us all get better here still might make sense.

Dave/Rich - Maybe we can start a discussion with CThree re: a subforum for non-s2000s in the gallery, or non-critiquing, just for show subforum in here?

 

^ all Cthree needs to do is re-name the "s2000" gallery to "The Gallery. If you actually go in there and look for a second you will see that its the general gallery and not the S2000 gallery.
