Default playing around a little

Some friends asked me to take a few shots of their cars today, so I hed up to the local community college and shot away. I got a few BS lenses (no L's yet) so the pix arent really the best. Anyway I was playing with the contrast slides in Photoshop, and got this really coole effect of the sky. I went back to a few posts bc I felt like Iv'e seen a sky like this. Scavenger Hunt #2...signs; Poindexters Post with the corner of the building showing the painted signes. That photo inspired me to make this: I know it make not be to everyones taste, but I like it alot.

The levels in general seem kind of off. It seems like you need more contrast but you'll end up blowing out your whites and the black car in the bg.

what's the original pic look like?

You went a little much on the contrast. The bumper is grainy.

If you like the strong sky effect, pick up a circular polarizer for use when taking the picture. Then you can have at it in Photoshop

The CP will enhance what is originally captured in the camera.
