Default Polarizer

Just picked up a Polarizer for my Canon 50mm F1.8 lens, Question is before that i had a UV filter on the lens and would only remove it to clean it. Does anyone else leave their Polarizer on the lens?

Not me. It cuts down too much light (typical 1.5 stops) for 100% use. I only screw mine on when I really need it.

I usually use a polarizer only outdoors in the daylight. I also find myself rarely taking pictures of anything behind glass. It wouldn't be a good idea for indoor photography.
