Default question for 40d owners

i'm about to pull the trigger and order a 40d to replace my 20d, i currently have the BG-E2 grip for the 20d do should i upgrade to the BG-E2N for the 40d?

Question is how much will you use the vertical grip controls, and how much do you shoot in a day? Personally, I would....

James, I don't have the grip. I think the better question is how much you use your current grip. Shouldn't have much to do with the 40D itself, right?

I tend to use the grip often as I do find I'm using the controls on the grip. I was doing some reading that the only difference between the bg-e2 and the e2n is weather seal on the battery door

I'm about to head out of town and just want to make sure I can still use my current grip

well i pulled the trigger and got the 40d it should be here wed at the latest, i have a feeling i will see it tomorrow.

the bg-e2 will work with the 20 30 and 40d so no need for the upgrade right now
