How many people on here shoot in RAW all the time vs JPG? I've wanted to shoot in RAW but it just seems to much of a card hog especially when I shoot 300-400 pics in JPEG-Fine. I've only got an 8Gig card...

Can you please post why you voted the way you did also?

 

No excuse not to buy more cards or a bigger card. They are SOOOO cheap these days.

Then buy 2 x 32GB cards for $200. My 12MP camera with a 32GB card holds 1400 RAW....do you honestly need/want anything bigger?

I shoot RAW about 95% of the time. Other 5% is JPEG because my GF1 RAW format isn't supported by Aperture yet.

 

Raw unless shooting a sporting event that requires images to be delivered immediately.

 

Where are you buying your cards from... @ B&H a 32G Sandisk Extreme card is $300

 

Poll fail, you need to add in the raw and .jpg option. i shoot both at the same time.
