Dust is everywhere.. It's in the air we breathe... Therefore it's also in our cameras as well as blowers. That said, I only use the Pec-Pads and Eclipse solution when needed and ONLY if I intend to take shots with an aperture smaller than f/8

Just my 2 cents

Many thanks.

I tend to agree - but I hadn't really thought about blowers possibly putting more crud onto the sensor.

It'll be interesting to see if more and more cameras start to appear with these new vibrating sensors?

That ultrasonic vibe, along with sticky material in the mirror box, sounds like the bees knees to me.

But Norman, my camera has an anti-dust shaker mechanism....
