here's a shot i did just playing around


strobe fired head on from the car about 7ft in the air, and also on camera flash fired at low power

Hella shadow in the foreground, the idea is to light the car not put it in shadow.

yea, this i know.....was actually one of my first tries at this....and only have one strobe.....dark foggy night....just wasn't working out well for me


if i had another strobe, i would have put it low on the drivers side to light that, but alas.......too much $$ for me right now

Lengthen your exposure "bulb mode" and manually pop the strobe on each side of the car. Dont just pop it once and call it a shot.

i know all this stuff your telling me, like i said that was the best i could do with what i had at the time


my remote is missing for some reason, and i didn't have anyone to hold the button on the camera down for me

A lot of things work as tripods, also use the timer built into the camera it functions in bulb/long exposure mode as well as any other mode. Where there is a will there is a way

The secret is to think and remember those things before you trigger the shutter
