LOL! Was about 75 degrees still when I took those!

What's your opinion f/ the composition side? As I've said, trying to learn

ok honestly if you trying to show the sun as your subject you need to isolate it.

The placement of the sun and the foreground are not doing you any favors. Try to find a location with a level horizon void of distractions to the eye and highlight the sun as your subject. A nice palm tree or solo object or a person off to the side would be complimentary but not much more than that.
