I just purchased a Canon T3 and was out snapping a few shots and comparing it to my Sony HX7V (I know they are two different types of cameras). I like the size and simplicity of my Sony P&S, but I love the functionality and versatility of a DSLR. I am certainly happy with my purchase, although I may jump up to the T2i since they are so close in price. I am also looking forward to some new lenses real soon! I also started tinkering with PS and please remember that I am a novice at both photography and editing, but please feel free to comment.

 

Watch your reflections and what is showing in the car. You want a background that is minimal so what is reflected isn't busy like a construction sign. Have the girl model with your car.
