Default waivers?

if i wanted to post pics of someone, or publish pictures, would i need to have someone sign a waiver or something along those lines giving me permission?

do you know where i can get a sample waiver?

this is not necessarily for photography, this can also be for opinions a person shares or what not.

Do a google search for "Model Release Form".

Generally, as long as the image is not for commercial use, you can do what you want with it.

I would say that if the photo puts the person in an incriminating position (perhaps nude), then you may want to have them sign something.

commercial use! meaning being published and money made.

this isnt necesarily for photography. this also has to do with writings and shit like that.

like if i asked your opinion on something, you gave me a written response. i take your photo. then i publish this say in a book or magazine that would be published.

i would def 100000% need waivers or release forms correct?

Even if not...in this day in age where everyone wants to sue everyone else for anything, I would do it just to protect yourself.
