Yea, and the 1Ds is coming shortly as well. I'm happy though, I love new toys.

I've also noticed that high end equipment retains it's value very well. I could sell this stuff 2 years down the line with minimal loss.

Correct except for camera bodies the rest of the GOOD gear usually does well in re-sale as long as you take good care of it.
