Default all parts on the way

After driving my car basically all stock last year (except for AP2 wheels and Tanabe exhaust), this spring is looking up.

Already on the car are RPF1s, 17x8, 17x9 fitment. Now just waiting on Ground Control top mounts and bump stops. Also on the way is a Yellow Jacket speedo calibrator from Modifry, and just now I ordered a diff shim kit from Hardtopguy. Both of those mods to accommodate the 4.57 gears I bought after Christmas.

Thumbs up to HTG because the kit sells for ~US$170 from him, C$350 from the local dealer. And on top of that, I will actually only pay for the shim I need (maybe US$7-8), because I get the credit back once I send back the unused shims. Dealer is charging $18 for a shim.

HTG FTMFW!!

Glad to hear it's all coming together!

My YellowJacket is on it's way now as well, along with a wired DCI for my Alpine deck. Looking forward to getting it all installed.

Can't say enough good things about Modifry, he actually went to far as to design a little custom YellowJacket for me that will perform an adapted function that I required. Bob is a great seller!

I haven't bought from HTG yet, but I've heard good things when he isn't too bogged down. Though I guess it's typical that most of the S2K parts dealers are a little tougher to get ahold of when it's a busy time of year. Can't complain too much!

What did you get custom on the YellowJacket? I agree though, Bob is very cool too, very helpful, and his products are top notch. The DCI is the best thing ever!

Forgot to mention I've also got Samco intake and coolant hoses, Mugen fan switch and blue convex mirrors to go on the car too. Next I'll start picking up some fluids. Been looking for Mobil 1 gear oil for the longest time, but can't seem to find anyone in town who carries it. Suggestions on alternatives? Royal Purple or Redline? I think I can get those from MoPac. Motul?

Yeah I have a sub...Kicker CVT10.

Gotta get something together in terms of a tool well box. Right now I basically have it in a cube but it's protruding into the trunk more than I would like.

Why do ya ask?

Last year my cluster was replaced after the old one was stolen and they replaced it with one that was slightly low on mileage. I needed the ability to accelerate the odometer so I can line it back up with the actual mileage of my car, then adjust appropriately for my 4.77s.

Not fraudulent because I am looking to raise the reading as opposed to lower it.

I'm selling my car soon and will have a Stealthbox for sale if the buyer doesn't want to pay for the stereo.

No kidding! I'm guessing it's the type that sits on the side though...and will prevent me fitting a golf bag in the trunk That's my only reason for wanting a tool well box

Nope, it fits in the tool well. I can still get my golf bag and hockey bag in the trunk. Although not at the same time...

Here's a link with a pic. http://mobile.jlaudio.com/products_stealth...57&model_id=338

you are such a nice guy, lol...
so your saying that if i replace my guage cluster with a lower mileage one my ODO will roll back?

hah thats funny, not that I would go through the trouble of all this mess on my own time but... it wouldn't suprise me if someone with like 200k km's did this...
