Default anyone need 3M on their AP1 front bumper?

Took my car into Car Pretty today to get my freshly repainted front bumper 'done'. Also had the OE lip done, as well as 12" swathe of the hood and part of the front fenders. Oh, and headlights too. I had actually done the headlights (actual JDM pieces I picked up a couple months ago) myself , but one didn't turn out so nicely, so I had them redo it.

Lovely. Now, no more worries about the small road crap.

One snag is that my bumper has had the emblem removed and the holes filled in, so it's all smooth. Jurgen at Car Pretty only noticed after he had cut the piece already for my car with the holes in it for the emblem. So now he has this extra piece sitting around. If anyone's interested, give them a shout, and tell him that Vince sent you.

Car Pretty's at 105 Ave, 112 Street, 429-2277.

3M for the bumper, with the OE lip, plus the hood coverage (they through in the fender pieces) plus the one headlight came out to $593 including GST. I think the bumper by itself is $450.

Bonus was that when I was dropping the car off this morning, Jurgen showed me the Exige they had in, same blue one with stripes that was at the car show. Bella....

Anyway, Jurgen - very friendly and helpful, go talk to him if you're looking for this stuff. They also do custom graphics.

Jurgen told me that factory paint is always the strongest. I actually had my bumper repainted last year already, because the previous owner had rubbed it up against a yellow pole. By the fall of last year, the whole thing was chipped to hell already. I should have done the 3M last year!
