What is the deal with the badges some people have? In my travels around the board I've seen some people with PR badges that I've never seen set foot in our forum. I understand 'honourary' badges for the likes of xviper who frequents other club boards, but seeing someone from the SE states with our badge kind of defeats the purpose, does it not?

It's kinda like when you visit another city where, for me, I would meet another fireman or for you, to meet someone in your profession. We exchange T-shirts or baseball caps. I'm not sure what you guys would exchange but I think you get the idea. Since I communicate with quite a few of the other fellows "out there", they have asked for a badge exchange - kind of a courtesy and gesture of friendship. They take ours and I get theirs and this is the only way it is done. It is to symbolize a "cross border" friendship/liaisaon if you will.
So when you see a "foreign" badge in my sig, that means I've developed a friendship with a person in that other forum, vica versa. You can always tell what the "home" badge is by the "location" under the username.
Hope that helps.

I think its great. It just shows you've developed a relationship with that particular group or some of its members.

Dave... I just updated the list, sorry it took me so long... my computer here at come has some severe issues.

Can you take a look at let me know who I'm missing?

Thanks!

A new power cord is like 6-8 weeks special order. So this hack job will have to do until then!
