Battery Tender
Hello!
Does anyone have battery tender they bought from here in Edmonton? I need to know where I can get one. I'm planning on checking Scona Cycle and Argyll Motosports. Is there other places that's cheaper?
Thanks!
Ken

Not the answer you're looking for, but, if you have trouble locating a Bettery Tender, strongly consider an Optimate:

It's Battery Tender's number one competition. I've used one to maintain a number of motorcycle and car batteries around here. I have to keep moving it from battery to battery though. I need a few more!
Blackfoot in Calgary sells them.

Ohh yeah, Optimate is resold under the ProHonda label through Honda motorcycle dealerships worldwide too. It's Honda approved!

I leave them in. The Optimate actually came with a wire harness that has a Tamiya RC car battery style plug on the end. You mount the harness to the battery and route it somewhere convenient to plug into. Batteries in sport bikes are a bitch to get to.

When I parked my S2000 over last winter I just disconnected the negative terminal... it fired up just like normal in the spring.

That's what it says in the manual. Is your garage heated? Mine isn't, so that's why I was thinking to put it in my house instead.
I have my battery connected still. The Battery Tender has pigtails that you mount to the terminals and then you just plug in from there. The pigtail has a non-reversible plug on it and you just plug in the charger from there.
