Default Bought '01 Formula Red! Thanks for your help.

Just wanted to let the board know that I bought an '01 Formula Red. This is the car that was in Calgary and was advertised in the Auto Trader. Some of you pointed it out to me. Thanks! You were right, the car is MINT! 10 000km, not a scratch. Rear spoiler and wheel locks. The plastic rear window I decided is not a big issue. I can always replace it down the road or maybe a hard top. As well, I really love the car in red and I think I bought the best car I saw this summer. Can't wait to get it home. Question for Calgary owners. Can I drive it home this week-end? What are the roads like in town? I have to pick up the car in the North East (Nose Hill) and drive it back to Edmonton. No winter tires remember. If not I will have to trailer it or have it shipped. Not something I really want to do. I look forward to joining the Prairie Redliners ASAP. I work for Sleeman Breweries, so I hope that I will be a welcome member of the group! Cheers! ;

BTW, ask the dealership to have it flatbedded to your home. My dealer did that for me when I bought mine.

Oh and if you do get the dealer to do this....you owe me a !

Congrats! If it was me I'd have it trailered - preferably enclosed

I don't think I'd drive anywhere with snow or ice and summer tires

oh, and sleemans.... mmmmmm

Congrats on the car! I hope, and am sure that you will enjoy it.

As for the roads, the side streets are still a little icy/snow covered, however the main roads, highways included, and completely dry and clear. What with the impending good weather this weekend (we hope), you shouldn't have any problems getting home.

Happy Vtec-ing!

Merry Christmas! Nothing like a red S wrapped up and ready to go.

The main roads in Edmonton were not the greatest but should be better with the temp rise.

If you can keep off the secondaries and side roads you should be OK - I assume your treads are good?

Enjoy and get the beer ready!
