Default Buying/selling privately... where?

It seems that the trader here is overrun with dealer vehicles. Same goes with the buy/sell and even the herald. Is there any place that I'm missing? Or have dealers flooded all avenues of advertising with their stuff? The no GST thing makes private deals attractive, but sorting through pages and pages of stuff to find them isn't so appealing... that almost seems like work!!

I'm afraid this is the case. "Commercial" advertisers have inundated what used to be a refuge for the private "little guy". The Autotrader used to be the bible when it came to buying and selling used cars. Even the online sites are like this but at least you can use filters to try to narrow things down a bit. I sometimes check the Autotrader online, globeauto.com, Buy/Sell and use the filters. Unfortunately, if you don't buy the online issues, you get last week's info.
To get in touch with what all is out there, you are still going to have to consult the Trader, Herald on the "car" days (Wed. and Fri.) and the Bargain Finder if your head doesn't hurt already from the first two.
