Default car got egged last night

I was up on the computer at about 2:30am...hear my alarm go off...look out the window...see and hear loud sportier car do a U-turn and bolt.

I didn't think anything of it. Just thought that it was the vibration from the car and it was very windy.

Wake up this morning and got hit with 2 eggs

So glad my alarm works. If this happens again, there will be a little chase and who knows what could happen

If they were trying to break in, they would have been so busted.

Hey V-man, this is of great concern to me and I have issued this warning in the "sightings" thread:

PLEASE NOTE: Some of you are getting too carried away with your descriptions on where you "usually" see a particular car. If you see the same car in the same relative location, please DO NOT post it here. AND FOR GOD'S SAKE, DO NOT post where you see a car parked.
Another owner has just had his vehicle egged. It could have been far worse. It may be coincidental but this same owner had his "sighting" posted here not long ago and the relative location was published. PLEASE STOP THIS!
PLEASE USE SOME COMMON SENSE AND SOME DISCRETION on how you report your sightings.

For those of you who have done this in this thread, I now ask you all to go back and edit those posts or delete them. If this sort of thing continues, I will lock this thread.

Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

I hope your car wasn't damaged and I hope there will be no repeat. You might want to "be on your toes" for the next little while as your location is no known. I hope I'm wrong, but these little DIRT BAGS may be viewing this forum.

Careful man! Some of your "friends" from that "other" forum may be watching. Don't reveal your general location. Every weekend night where I work, there are always a bunch of numb nuts in "that back parking lot" doing donuts and making all sorts of commotion. One of these nights, we'll jump in the truck and go for a visit. "I think I can see smoke and fire" coming from underneath those vehicles." We will be within our civic duty to "extinguish" those potential hazards. (I wonder how their CAI's will take to sucking up 500 gallons of water?) Of course, we'll need to take licence plate numbers, etc for our fire reports. They'll need a fire report # to make an insurance claim for water damage. Then when we invite our policeman buddies over for coffee, somehow those plate numbers just happened to get into their possession .................

No harm was done, it was a quick and easy wash. They actually just hit the drivers window. These guys took off so fast that I am sure it was just throw the eggs and let's get out of here.

My car has so many eyes on it. I am not concerned at all with someone doing something to this car. I was a second away from seeing the whole thing take place. If there is a next time, i'm jumping into the S2000 and catching these guys. Great thanks to my alarm again.

I think that xviper's comments on the sighting thread are quite valid.

The muffler on the car that did the drive by, had a very distinctive loud sound of a young guys sports car that lives across the way. I did knock on the door of the house with that particular car parked outside at 11:00 a.m. this morning. The dad said the kid was camping. It's 2:00 p.m. now and I hear the car take off from the driveway. I think the dad might have covered for the kid. If it was this kid and his friend, I'm sure they had gotten my polite warning.

Oh, and this kids car is always parked in his garage. I remember when I used to go out and come home late...keep the car parked outside so the garage door and the muffler echoing in the garage won't wake everyone up. I'll have to have a little chat with the kid in the next little while and see if he sweats.
