Default Corner Gas

I am totally addicited to cornergas. This one of the best canadian/saskatchewan TV shows ever. If you are from Saskatchewan you likely know about this show. It is written, directed, and produced by Brent Butt. He plays a main character in the show as well. All canadian actors, shot on location in Regina and Rouleau Sask (now known as Dog River)

For those Canadians unfortunate enough to have to live in the US, you should try and catch it on TV. The best this is to rent or buy the Season one DVD.. you will toally be addicted.

How many Canadian/Saskatchewan TV shows have there been? But I agree with you....great humour. My 8 year old son likes it too....he almost convinced his hockey coach to name his team "the River Dogs" this season.

I have never actually seen the show. Canadian television has left me less than desired over the years however.

I must confess that I try to catch every episode. It's entertaining, has regional relevence and convey a wit and humour that most Prairie "commoners" can relate to. It reminds me of the same sort of impact that "The Beachcombers" had in its glory days.

I can't name the other movies or shows that were filmed here. But for some reason the film industry is picking up here in Saks. They are taking advantage of the saskatchewan film tax rebates. Currently a movie is being filmed called Just Friends. Skipped parts is another, my 66 VW beetle was in that one. There is Decoy, Incredible toy story. Just a few that I can recall.

The humour, and small town theories are pretty accurate for small down communities.

It's a great show! Very funny. My co-worker that owns our Saskatchewan stores is best friends with Brent Butt.

There's two of 'em. We can take turns, then swap.
