Curbed my volks
I've had a really bad cold for the last week or so, and yesterday on my way out of town I was coughing like crazy, pulled over in a neighbourhood just to relax for a sec, but I was being an idiot and pulled up tight to the curb.
Unfortunately I curbed both of my passenger side wheels. The rear one isn't too bad, just a 2 CM gash, but the front wheel has about 6-7 inches scratched up.
I'm wondering if forged aluminium can even be repaired properly?
I might just have to drive em like this until I sell my car, probably wont get much when I sell them

can albeta repair fix forged wheels?.. if so.. wont the wheels be not very balance no more.. since that fixed part will be cast?
And for the amount I curbed, the wheel weight isn't going to be thrown off at all... its very minor. I might even just live with it until next spring.
