Default DAMN APHID INFESTATION

One min after I hung a magic carpet outside:

According to a recent issue of the Edmonton Journal, this is one of the worse aphid infestation Edmonton has seen

They're a nuisance. Anything that's bright will attract them. Leaving my bike outside for a min, the tank and the rear cowl would be covered with them I'd have to just blow them off so I don't sit or smear them on my bike. The only time you don't see them in big swarms is when it's windy outside.

I even found them in our food during dinner So everyone in the household has been instructed to brush their hair, shake their clothes and body before coming in!

Is Calgary affected too?

I haven't noticed one. Usually they are at their worst during September/October (particularily if it's warm). You keep them, we don't want any.
