I honestly dont think there is enough room to do that in this little garage here at the townhouse. If we have a meet in red deer this year, maybe I could take a bit of your time to take a look at what I have here, see if you think it's doable.. I'm no good when it comes to stuff like that!

And as for keeping it on all the time, yes I did say that and I guess I probably should buy you and Ian both a beer because you both probably knew deep down I wasn't going to keep it on 365 days a year
If you're having doubts now just wait until I pull up on a hot summer day and hit the switch. That'll spell the end of the hard top aleast during summer.

Oh I'll still have it on the car most of the time, I much prefer the look of the S2000 as a coupe. I just really enjoy driving with the top down on a nice warm evening.

I built one of those hardtop stands out of PVC pipe...works great! With the hardtop on the stand directly in front of my car it only takes up about 2.5' (I'd have to measure it though). The S2000 isn't that long of a car, could this work for you?

The garage I've got the car in is extremely small. I had my CSX in there one day just to clean it out and it might have had 6 inches to spare. I think it may fit if I put it along the side of the car, I'd just need to figure out where to put some of the work benches I have in there

I was going to build a stand out of PVC pipe before I sold my house, had tons of room there (actually, I had enough to just lay it on the ground in front of the car)

If you have rafters and back the car in, then the top really only needs to be 3 inches above the car... Cake I say. Cake.

Word son, word.

Kevin (kedo) stopped by today and he has been gracious enough to offer his services. We're gonna try and set up a contraption in the next few weeks.
