Where is the Upper K Lakes parking lot?

 

i would be interested if we could get some of the local members (koala,ykbill) here to rendevous with you . perhaps bear berry,sundre,cochrane caroline. so far i enjoy highway 22. i am trying to get the local salesman,drives an 04 spa yellow, to contact the people who have purchased s2000 's and have a local group meet the larger centre contigent.

doodlebug: Map of Kananaskis It's down near the bottom of the map. The turnoff from Hwy 68 is about 20 mins or so in from Highway 1. The road from 68 to the Upper K Lakes parking lot is a very twisty and scenic but low speed road. It's about another 20 mins up to the parking lot from 68.

bigstar: Flames game is a 2pm start. I expect we'll be back in Calgary by 11:30.

OK let's meet out in the Winners/Mikasa/Michaels parking lot -- it's on the "north" side of Westhills, closest to Sarcee Trail. 9AM meet time.

Latest weather forecasts are saying between 13-16C high for the day, though the morning will of course be a little cooler.

EDIT: drove past the lot today and didn't see a Pier One. Either I have a bad memory (possible) or I'm blind (also possible). THe lot is also shared by Winners, Mikasa, and Michaels -- you can't miss it.

 

CokerRat good job on picking out the route. To bad so many S2K owners missed out on this drive.
