The race is at the Old Edmonton Garrison parade ground approx. 144th Ave. NW (just north of 137 Ave.) between 113 A St. NW and 108 St. NW. It's a yearly team (4 in a team) slalom/AutoX event sponsored by the Edmonton Corvette Club for bragging rights and prizes. Maximum 20 teams (already booked for some time).

The day before the local slalom club (ASA) has their event but it is at the Namao forces base (old runway). Unfortunately due to base security, everyone going to the race has to pre-sign in with info which is checked at the gate.

Hey you should consider taking a look or maybe racing just to see if the bug will bite you. It would be nice to see another S once in a while locally.

I'm sure you can dragged along more owners from Calgary. Not that it's really entertaining here in Edmonton anyhow

Everyone: I'm assuming we should all check the weather on the day before. If it rains, I would think this event will be cancelled.

I'll see how things look but I know I'd like to see that bad little black S with all the suspension mods shakin' its thang on the parade grounds! If I'm not mistaken, there's an STi and a Saleen on your team too?

I understand another black S (Mike) from Calgary, will be on a team with a co-driver - getting better all the time.

Long range weather calls for 25 Sat. and 30 Sun. - if they're right this time a great day for your meet!
