Default First S memory?

I was digging through some files on my parent's computer and came across an old pic from Oct. 30, 1999

Just happens it was a pic of me in a S on a test drive from the dealer here. The first S had just hit the city and it was sitting on the showroom. After stopping by and looking at it up close, I knew I wanted it, but it took dragging my father down there with me to spring the car for a rip. It was brand new - had just arrived and had I think about 5km on it.

With a new family, the time wasn't right, but I knew after that drive that someday I'd have one (naturally, it would have to be NFR though )

So, what was your first time like?

Mine was more like "man my damn prelude is slow and it's too common, I want something faster and unique". Hence, visited the dealership few days after and put a deposit on an S without thinking of the consequences which may arise (ie gf hates my car!)

Looking at the first S2000 regina had... maybe the one above realizing that regina honda was a bunch of crooks, as they wanted 60K for it. Never sat in it, or test drove it.

My first memory was a black S2000 at the dealership. I knew all about the car but my wife was not too keen on me getting it. I had to get by with the M3 for the time. After two years of whinning, I got my Suzuka Blue (glad I waited). Ironically, my first 'test drive' was that black S2000 since the owner and I swapped cars at the drag strip. Don't even ask about my quarter-mile time as I didn't want to drive someone elses S2000 very hard.

Earliest memory I have was taking ownership of the car in April/02. So I drive out the dealership with my brand spanking new S2000 feeling on top of the world. I get to an intersection making a left turn but the driver in front of me waited till the light turned red before he completed his turn

when i first saw them in magazines i knew i had to see them in person. took awhile locally to see/get a ride in one. waited for the 02my as i wanted the glass rear window. purchased it as a gift to my better half for our anniversary. have been smiling ever since. took awhile to get accustomed to most things. previously she had an 86 mazda 626 so you can imagine the difference.
