Hmm, I was thinking the "paint it" route myself then I thought, I wonder how it would look on my red car, not painted...anyone ever seen a black top on a red s2000, i looked on the boards a bit and couldnt find anything. If anyone has of can find a pic I would really appriciate it, I have been longing for a HT and this sounds like an amazing deal...

A black top on a red S2000 would look nice. A lot like an NSX with it's black roof.
Can't recall seeing it done yet, though.
One other thing, though... since you have a MY00 you require the installation kit that costs approximately $1,000. I think if you have a higher VIN MY00 you may only require a slightly less expensive kit, but it's something you want to check into.
