Default Hold me

well, you don't have to, and since know one lives close to me, I guess I will have to suffer

Last night someone broke into my mazda. Sometime between 10pm last night and 7am this morning. They broke 2 triangle windows on the drivers side.. reached in unlocked it, and took my pioneer stereo. 350 model.. they did a fine job of removal. Looked pretty professional, the dash kit was removed but all screwed in pieces looked in tact. The back seat is full of glass, however the tiniting held in a lot of the glass. I will take pictures when I get home.

Just pissed my off.. the hassle, the running around, and the fact that some ingrate sat in my driver's seat. His ass better have been cute..

That sucks - just replied to your PM

Was it at your house? No room in the garage for the P5?

Ya it was at the house, on the driveway. And no, there is no room for the mazda in the garage. The parents seem to think they need one vehicle in there.

I recall having the front outside light on.. nice of me to supply them with light to do the deed.

Sorry to hear about your luck Shel. You're right more than anything it's the hassle of the whole situation. Car prowlings are always such a nuisance for insurance companies, for the Police, and most definately the victim.

A couple of things:
-Do you have a serial # for the head unit? If so, provide it to the Police. In Calgary, our pawn-shop detail officers cross reference all items at pawnshops with serial numbers we have on file from various car prowlings, B&Es and the like.

-Does the P5 have an alarm system? Not a fool proof measure, but a theft deterrant nonetheless.

-Conduct some neighborhood inquiries if the Police haven't done so already. You'll be surprised just how many nosey-poke neighbours offer good intelligence when push comes to shove. Ask for suspicious vehicles, license plates or otherwise any person that has been seen in the area and that just seems out of place.

I know you're looking for solutions and some closure. I hope the car gets repaired quickly and painlessely for your sake.

Good luck, and take care.

ya, I am 16

it is a long story... doesn't make sense to the majority of the population I moved out.. bought a house.. and a roommate, kicked her out.. parents sold their house... stopped in to my place until they decided to build another or condo it. That was a few years ago. I have been pressuring them to find something.. I am also looking, for myself.. maybe a condo. We shall see! So far, things have been ok!

Even at 19 if I moved back in with my parents or they moved in with me I'd go INSANE. The bachelor life is so much better!

Strange women, alcohol and lots of car parts. It's a good life
