I'll be in Calgary today/tomorrow
Back in edmonton since last nite.
Highway 2 was BAD. Took me 3.5 hrs to get home. Snow drifts, blowing snow, can't see crap all. Was going 70-80 at times.
As I was going northbound on deerfoot trail between 16 ave and memorial to leave the city at around 5:15 pm, 15 or so car-lengths infront of us, my gf and I witnessed a car DARTED ACROSS ALL THE LANES from the left to the right
, went down the ditch
, up the ditch, bursted thru chain-link fence, and into a guard rail or wooden fence (can't remember). All the cars infront of me slowed down all of a sudden, a couple of them decided to pull over to see if the driver was alrite. As soon as I passed that car, I could see the driver getting out, so he was OK.
I am really not sure if he lost control in the left lane on deerfoot northbound, OR, he came from the southbound lanes of deerfoot, across the median?
although I think the latter is impossible.
