I'm Blue!
That is my
that I am talking about. I have the complete kit from Randy that I looked at for excellent instruction but decided to pass on his filters. I made my own to get the blue color I wanted.
So anyone local want to co-purchase this from me? I would like to get as many of our bunch as possible in on this one and then just divide the cost by ? # of ways. This includes me too. I paid $45.00 US. I am happy with the product and idea. Now that I know how the dash works, I can tweak it any way I like.
The three colors that are included are blue/white/red and plus you get my bonus tips.
If anyone wants to see the results, just let me know when you would like to meet up. My schedule is wide open.

I've played with tons of filter colours for the last two days and no matter how hard I tried to get blue to work, I will have to say that it is a no brainer that RED is the best colour for our display. Why? Because the biggest problem is seeing the colors. All colors except for yellow/white, yellow, orange and red can barely be seen during the day and at night.
I am going to let you see it for yourselves, but I bet once you see my dash you will change yours. Mine is so vivid. I tried the original stock colours and hated it even more than before.
So did I harm my car in any way? Nope, and even used the original dash filter board and simply overlayed a red film over it. The existing board is designed to absorb the light from the rear bulbs and make all numbers clearly visible and very bright. I can use the dimmer buttons to bring the brightness down. With the other colours, I couldn't dim any color because I could barely see it at the brightest level.
Note: You can change and test the filters while your dash is apart without any problems.
Now that I've done this a zillion times, I could perform this work in about half an hour. It will always take way longer because of testing and car care.
