Default Increase in stolen imports

It seems like car theft and especially import thefts are on the rise. On the other car forum here in Calgary, there has been a rash of reports of stolen imports that have been modded.

Becareful where you park kids, oh and if anyone parks at the University, be extra careful.

Yep, getting pretty bad. Starting to see relatively stock ones get hit too.

And those are only the ones the public hears about through various media such as internet forums.. I'd say on an average work day, I hear of at least 3-5 imports alone getting stolen. I suppose here's notice to be extra vigilante huh? Stay safe and happy motoring!

I'll warn the guy at Mount Royal that drives a Stook if I see him again.

yo guys, funny how no other types of cars but Honda Civics are stolen. I know for a fact that there are at least 2-3 S2000 at the U every day and nothing. But I guess we do have the immbolizer system that helps just a bit. Anyways, gonna go check my car <-- university right now TTYL

I am going to put a sign in mine that if someone steals it, DON'T bring it back, strip her and destroy her if you want but don't just take her for a spin and then steal just the seats.

Oh, btw, the immbolizer can be bypassed easily. nothing is safe, becareful where you park.

Oh Adam, don't be cutting people off, people don't like that stuff

In some cars, it's not too hard to bypass the immobilizer. I think the S makes it a bit harder than most though...
