Default Interest rate on new S2000s

Hi there. Im looking at buying an S2000 this year. The rates that Honda Canada have right now are crazy! Do the rates drop to a more reasonable number...if so, what time of year is ideal? The rates are up around 8-9% for any term.

Honda doesn't usually have very good interest rates for financing. When they do have their promotional rates available it is usually only on specific models and that never includes S2k. Best rates that you will most likely get for financing would be through a bank or credit union.

^100% agreed. Honda sucks for decent interest rates and at the moment that is killing their sales relative to mazda/kia/etc.

The usa is struggling...HARD. Check out autotrader.com. The prices on S2000s will blow your mind. I am glad i got mine from the USA. The prices are nearly double here in Canada for an 09

I got an 01 with 74,000kms on it... excellent condition, new roof, new rubber, all fluids changed recently for 16k CAN all in (all paper work...importing EVERYTHING). i couldnt be happier.

There are still some people trying to sell a 01 s2000s around edmonton for 23k (are they crazy???). You can get a new 09 s2000 in the USA for 35k....probbly less if you make them an offer. Here in edmonton, i think they are 58K. Thats an insane amount of money for an s2000. You can get a 04 porsche 911 turbo for 58k in the USA... a s2000 is NOT a 58k car...they arent that good.

Just my 2cents
