Default Mobil 1 Diff Fluid.

If anyone is ready and interested in changing out their diff fluid, I've found a place in Calgary that normally carries it. It's not that readily available. And as you may already know, Honda does not carry a "true" diff fluid for our car. They will sell you a fluid that they put into their AWD CRV diffs. I've been using the Mobil 1 for 1.5 years with good results. It's synthetic.
Go to the Husky station in Inglewood. It's right beside Blackfoot Tr and you turn opposite the direction you would go to get to the Sam Livingstone fish hatchery. You'll see it from Blackfoot.
ps. You'll need only one bottle (1 L) .......... 12 bucks - pretty cheap insurance, if you ask me.

Sure, we can get it started draining while we look into the speaker thing.

Your local Honda dealer would sell you CR-V diff oil?! THE HACKS!!!

It's actually supposed to take Honda Shaft Drive oil, part number... Um. Errr. I don't remember. But that's what it's supposed to take, as I remember.

(I've had good luck putting redline into a couple of customer cars.)

BUMP

is this the really dinky small Husky across from Petro-Canada?
I drove by it today but it was closed. It looks REALLY small though, so not sure if they carry it..
Where else can I find this oil?

Partsource, Walmart and London Drugs are all pretty reliable sources for Mobil 1.
