Muz Floormats - kind of dissapointed.
I'm kind of disappointed in my Muz floormats. They're only a month old and already they're starting to wear quite a bit. I guess they're not "that" bad, but I don't know if I'd buy them again.
The other big issue I'm having (and not neccessarily Muz's fault)... is that they don't stay in place. Even with the anchor post eyelet in place, the driver side mat still shifts like the stock mats do.
I've also installed velcro under some parts of the mats and they still shift horribly!
Any ideas?

Sorry to hear that you are displeased with them. I'm of a different frame of mind. I got them to purposely let them wear instead of the my stock ones, which don't cover very much anyways. I primarily wanted to prevent wear on the stock rug underneath it all. As you know, I put on "winter" mats over top of the Muz mats just to keep them from getting too wet.
I can't honestly say how long it took before the Muz mats started to look like they were wearing. I didn't really care as I figured that what they were there for. Mine are over 2 years old now and have taken all the shit and abuse that they were meant to.
A couple times a year, I take them out and give them a vacuum and maybe once a year, I'll hose them down with warm water and hang 'em up to dry. All in all, they "look" as they should to me. Do you have the heel pad?
I never consider floor mats to stay like new. They are a wear item. In a month, you probably get in and out of the car at least a hundred times. That's a lot of rubbing.
In all my past cars, I would just wear out the stock mats and then buy new ones when I was about to sell the car. With this car, the stock ones don't protect much - too short.
