Yeah man, that was me and the fiancee heading out to dinner last night in the AMG. Car's been painted now, and I just finished putting it back together about a week ago. Oh, I still haven't put the badges back onto the trunk, but that's all that's left to do!

A link to my mbworld posting on the process:

Finished pictures on page 3.

Doh! I'll try and sort something out later tonight.

But the car fundamentally looks like a stock C43, except it's currently rolling on CLK AMG 5-spoke wheels and the front grille is painted black. And the interior wood trim is now all black too.

As I was leaving the office this morning for an appointment, a black AP1 drove by, very lowered, big wheels that looked mesh-style and were polished or chrome. Couldn't get a good look at the wheels, but the driver was gawking at my car. Drove past him as he turned off to Henday/216.

Coincidentally, as I was driving back to the office about an hour and a half later, saw the very same car merging onto Baseline. The rears must have 3* of negative camber!

Saw a orange? S2000 cruising top down heading North on 170 St, just north of the Yellowhead on Sat around 4pm or so. Just caught it out of my eye at the last second so not much more for details.

Saw a beardy white guy, i think Ian at the Pint on Friday night.
You sat across from our larger table at the patio. I believe you know my old classmate Jordan.
